Sir Karell Borotyn appears to have been killed by Count Mora, a vampire believed to haunt the local village. Now his daughter Irena is the count's next target. Enter Professor Zelen, an expert on vampires who's sent in to prevent her death. At the same time, secrets are revealed surrounding the circumstances of Sir Karell's death. Sir Karell has been murdered, and the tiny pinpoint wounds on his neck suggest that a vampire did it. Baron Otto and Dr. Doskil! are convinced of it, while the police inspector from Prague refuses to believe. Prof. Zelin, who specializes in the occult, must convince him that a dead count and his wife walk among the living and threaten both Karell's daughter and her fianc�, along with everyone else in the frightened village.
